The Chapel Vandervoort has endured many phases over the past 120 plus years. As we rebuild our new website we will add additional details of the events that has forged the historic foundation of the Chapel Vandervoort.

The building was originally constructed in 1888 and opened in 1889 as the First Baptist Church of north Tonawanda.

The church did an extensive remodeling of exterior of the building in 1945.

Additional remodeling took place over the years, bit with exception to the steep the interior of the building has been restored to capture and enrich the beauty and warmth of the original building.
